Arsenal star Theo Walcott wants to play in his club's clash against North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur as his comeback game, according to a report.

  • The England winger has been ruled out for over eight months, having sustained an knee injury during the Gunners' 2-0 FA Cup win over Spurs at the Emirates in January.

    According to The Mirror, the 25-year-old is now keen on making a swift return to first-team football, and is hopeful of regaining full fitness to feature against Mauricio Pochettino's men in the Premier League clash at the Emirates on September 27.

    The Gunners are currently in 7th place in the Premier League table.
