The 27-year-old is a long-term target for the Gunners and was linked with a switch to the Emirates during the recently concluded transfer window.

According to French publication L'Equipe, the Uruguayan international could make way from Les Parisiens next year, having been sparingly used due to the excellent form of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

In addition to this, the bookmakers back the former Napoli striker to join the North London club next season.
