Real Madrid boss slams Ronaldo exit rumours

26 September 2014 - 23:48

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has refuted claims that star midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave the club for Manchester United at the end of the season.

  • Man Utd star could be fit for the FA Cup final
  • Man Utd favourites to sign English star ahead of Real Madrid

  • The Ballon d'Or had recently revealed that he could favour a return to Old Trafford in the future, and this has brought up uncertainty over the player's future at the Bernabeu.

However, Ancelotti has revealed that the Portuguese international is content with life at the European champions, thereby ruling the possibility of a potential transfer to the Red Devils next season.

"These are words without meaning." He said. "I believe [the] reports are nonsense. Cristiano is happy here, very motivated to be here, and all Madridismo is delighted with him."

Ronaldo has scored 264 goals in 254 games for Los Blancos.
