Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to have been impressed by the progress of Hull City defender Andrew Robertson, and will make an offer for his services in the January transfer window.
The 20-year-old joined the Tigers from Dundee United over the summer, and has since then been an integral part of first-team setup at the club.
According to The Sun, Wenger will keep tabs on the talented full-back for the next few weeks, with a possible move for his signature in the New Year.
Arsenal visit Anderlecht in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
