Manchester United youngster Paddy McNair is reportedly set to be offered a new contract following his impressive start to the season.
The Northern Irishman played in two league games for the Red Devils following injuries to their more senior defenders in Jonny Evans, and Chris Smalling.
According to The Star, United boss Louis van Gaal has been impressed by the 19-year-old awareness at the back and is now keen on offering him a new deal.
McNair is currently recovering from a hamstring injury.
