Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes is set for a shock move to Manchester United. The Spaniard is currently out of contract.

With several of Europe's top sides having been linked with a move for Valdes, there remains some uncertainty about his next destination. However, Louis van Gaal wants Valdes to move to Old Trafford to play second fiddle to David De Gea. Valdes has also been linked with a move to Liverpool, but it is apparent United is his next destination. Valdes will train at United for the next two weeks.
