Southampton are reportedly considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane as they aim to strengthen their front-line in the upcoming transfer window.

The England Under-21 international has been in top form for Spurs in the Europa League this season, and scored his first professional hat-trick during the club's 5-1 thumping of Asteras Tripolis last week.

According to The Sun, the Saints will test Spurs' resolve by making a tempting offer for the talented striker, who has failed to cement a regular first-team place under manager Mauricio Pochettino in the Premier League.

Kane has notched up six goals in 10 games for Spurs this season.
