  • Pochettino was believed to be keen on signing up the England international over the summer, despite the 25-year-old being out with a serious knee injury.

According to The Mirror, Spurs are looking at the player\'s recovery progress, and could make a move for the striker in the upcoming transfer window, with the club in need of a genuine goal scorer.

Rodriguez scored 17 goals for the Saints in all competitions last season.
