According to The Sun, the Gunners are eager to match the £24 million clause in the player\'s contract to bring him to the Emirates in the New Year.

It is also reported that the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has watched the talented midfielder on several occasions and is impressed by what he has seen up to now.
