Walcott move to Fiorentina impossible says agent

The England international returned to first-team action in the final 10 minutes of the Gunners' 3-0 home win over Burnley last weekend.

Recent reports have revealed that Gunners boss Arsene Wenger may opt to send the talented forward on loan for the rest of the season in order to get fit for the next campaign.

However, his agent Colin Gordon has slammed reports claiming that interested clubs will not be able to match the 25-year-old's £100k-a-week wages.

"Theo is liked by a lot of teams and it's likely there's interest from Fiorentina," Gordon said.

"I don't think that Fiorentina have the money to get him. I think it's an almost impossible deal for them and I was never contacted by them about Theo."
