20A report from Southampton yesterday revealed that Townsend is the club's top priority in the upcoming transfer window. Mauricio Pochettino, the Spurs coach, prefers to play Nacer Chadli on the flank, seemingly leaving Townsend in the cold. The Saints will table an official bid in December, expected to be worn around 15 million pounds.
