Chelsea are reportedly preparing to offer a new deal to star midfielder Nemanja Matic, according to Goal.com.
The 26-year-old was sold to Benfica in the summer of 2011 as part of a deal for David Luiz.
However, Blues boss Jose Mourinho decided to resign the Serbian international last winter, and has since played a crucial part in the club's progress.
According to Goal.com, the West London outfit are eager to tie down Matic to an improved contract as a reward for his excellent performances this season.
Matic has four years left in his existing deal at Chelsea.
