Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has told German World Cup winner Lukas Podolski he can leave the Emirates. The forward has been linked with a move to Bayer Leverkusen.

Podolski is frustrated having failed to force his way into Arsenal's first team this season. The striker had been told that he must stay at the club, but after showdown talks between the manager and player, Podolski now looks set for the exit door. Arsenal will sell for around 12 million euros.
