Middlesbrough are to make a January transfer move for Aston Villa striker Luke Moore. Moore is currently out of favour at the Midlands club behind Agbonlahor and John Carew.
The pacy striker is yet to sign a new deal at the club but it is believed that Villa boss Martin O'Neill does want the Moore to stay at the club despite rumours linking Spurs striker, Jermain Defoe to Villa.
Any move for the Villa hitman will cost Middlesbrough in excess of around £6 million, although Martin O'Neill may allow Moore to leave on a loan deal for 3 months so Moore can get more first team action.
