Newcastle United are monitoring the progress of Anderlecht forward Aleksandar Mitrovic, according to The Mail.

The Serbian youngster has attracted interest from a host of European clubs over the past month, following his goal against the Gunners, which helped Anderlecht turn over a three goal deficit to earn a point at the Emirates in the Champions League.

According to The Mail, the Magpies are keen on strengthening the club's attack-line and are tracking the performance of the 20-year-old striker.

Mitrovic is currently valued by Anderlecht at £20m .
