The veteran striker joined the Toffees on a free transfer over the summer following the expiry of his contract at Chelsea.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Los Che are keen on sealing a deal for his services in the New Year in order to aid the development of young Spanish duo of Paco Alcacer and Rodrigo Moreno.

Eto'o has notched up 4 goals in 17 appearances for the Toffees this season.
