The former England international recently revealed that he would be heading out of Liverpool at the conclusion of the 2014/15 Premier League season.

According to The Mail, Los Angeles Galaxy, who are known for the signing of former England star David Beckham in the yesteryear, are keen on securing the services of Steven Gerrard next summer.

However, they are likely to face stiff competition from New York Red Bulls, who are keen on signing a marquee player in the summer, following the retirement of star striker Thierry Henry in December 2013.
