Manchester City have made enquired on the availability of Anderlecht midfielder Dennis Praet in January, The Mail reports.
The Belgian youngster impressed for Anderlecht in the Champions League this season, and this has attracted interest from the Premier League holders.
According to The Mail, City are keen on having the young midfielder on board as a long-term replacement for Yaya Toure.
City are through to the fourth round of the FA Cup following a 2-1 home win over Sheffield Wednesday.
