Manchester United will today announce the signing of 32-year-old goalkeeper Victor Valdes on a free transfer. The Spanish international has been training with the Old Trafford side.
Since being released by Barcelona at the end of last season, Valdes has been patient before deciding his next move. Louis van Gaal have won the race to sign the talented shot stopper and it is expected Valdes will play backup for David De Gea.
Man Utd will beat Monaco and fellow Premier League side Everton to the signing of the agile Spaniard.
