Real Sociedad and Joel Campbell have reached an agreement and the Costa Rica international looks set to make a move to Spain in the transfer window. Arsenal have yet to have agreed a deal with Sociedad.
Arsene Wenger has indicated that he wants to keep Joel Campbell at the Emirates Stadium for the forseeable future but understands Campbell's need to be playing first team football regularly.
The Gunners are open to a loan deal for Campbell but the player is known to prefer a permanent transfer away from London.
David Moyes' Real Sociedad side agreed a deal to sign Carlos Vela from Arsenal on a permanent deal and are hoping to swoop for yet another player from the Gunners' squad.
