Bony to make City move

Man City agree fee for Wilfried Bony

11 January 2015 - 11:13

Manchester City have agreed a £30m transfer fee with Swansea City for striker Wilfried Bony. The Ivory Coast international will discuss terms with the Citizens on Monday afternoon.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • The 26-year-old has proved to be an exceptional striker since arriving at the Swans in 2013 from Vitesse Arnhem and will now continue his development at the Premier League champions. It is understood that Man City coach Manuel Pellegrini could be forced to sell a striker to accommodate the arrival of Bony.

Bony is currently preparing for the African Cup of Nations alongside Yaya Toure, who will be his new club team mate. Bony has scored 9 goals in 20 league games this season and has scored 34 goals in total since arriving at the Welsh club.
