The Bosnia-Herzegovina international is unlikely to feature on a regular basis in the near future due to Wilfried Bony's impending arrival to the Etihad.

According to Stoke Sentinel, the Potters are keen on signing the talented forward on a temporary basis during the winter transfer window, with manager Mark Hughes keen on bolstering his strike force.

Dzeko has scored four goals in 18 games for the Citizens this season.
