Arsenal linked with goalkeeper Mattia Perin

22-year-old goalkeeper Mattia Perin has been linked with a shock move to Arsenal. The Genoa number 1 has been monitored by Arsenal club scouts and it is understood Arsene Wenger will table a 15 million euro bid for the Italian keeper.

The Gunners have so far struggled to find a number 1 goalkeeper and the disappointing former of current first choice Wojciech Szczesny has concerned Arsene Wenger. David Ospina is set for a spell in the Arsenal first team over the coming weeks.

Perin made his international debut for Italy last year and has spent the last 5 years playing for Italian youth international teams. Perin has spent two spells on loan, once at Padova and another at Pescara, where he was both team\'s first choice shot stopper.
