The England international has found it hard going under manager Mauricio Pochettino this season, and is considering a move away from White Hart Lane during the winter transfer window.

Evening Standard reports that Stoke City are for now the only club eager to secure the player's services, and a deal could be agreed upon in the next few days.

Lennon joined Spurs from Leeds United in 2005.
