Shanghai SIPG have tabled a bid for Senegalese striker Papiss Cisse, with the forward reportedly set to make a move to China. Cisse has also received an offer from the UAE.
Cisse has so far failed to force his way into Newcastle's starting line up on a regular basis despite having scored several goals in the league this season.
The striker will now have the option of a transfer to Shanghai before the transfer window slams shut on February 2nd.
