Chelsea are planning to trigger the release clause of Fiorentina midfielder Juan Cuadrado, The Star reports.
The Colombian international has been tipped to move to the Premier League over the summer with Manchester United keen on securing the services, but a deal failed to materialize.
According to The Star, Blues boss Jose Mourinho is a huge admirer of the South American winger, and wants him on-board at the club this month.
Adding to that, the club are considering meeting the buy-out clause in his contract which currently stands at £26.8m.
