French midfielder Francis Coquelin is reportedly set to play a waiting game before signing a new long-term deal at Arsenal.
The 23-year-old has been in top form for the Gunners since his return from a loan spell at Charlton Athletic.
Manager Arsene Wenger has recently revealed his desire to offer a long-time deal to the talented holding midfielder, who is now considered an integral part of the first-team setup.
However, The Mail claims that Coquelin, whose existing deal expires next summer, is willing to delay his decision over signing a contract extension as he is unsure whether he will feature on a regular basis in the long-run.
Arsenal visit Brighton & Hove Albion in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
