Empoli defender Daniele Rugani is the latest player to have been linked with a January transfer to Arsenal. The 20-year-old could make a 6 million euro move to the Emirates.

The defensive starlet, who is coowned by Juventus, is wanted by Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger for the future.

Several English clubs have been in contact with Empoli regarding Rugani's transfer status. It is apparent that Arsenal could be leading that race, though.

Rugani has represented Italy at every youth level and at just 20, has many years ahead of him at the top level.
