van Persie hits out at Freddie

05 August 2007 - 12:46

Robin van Persie has hit out at comments made by Fredik Ljungberg who labelled Arsenal "weak and unambitious" in the wake of Thierry Henry's transfer to Barcelona.

  • Chelsea handed big injury boost for Bayern clash
  • Fernandes unhappy with Man Utd role under Amorim

  • Robin van Persie has claimed that after 9 years at the club, Fredrik should have had some nice words to say about Arsenal. Ljungberg was wanted at the club by Arsene Wenger; but Fredrik instead opted for a transfer to London rivals West Ham.

Robin van Persie did however say that after Henry left, a few players were disappointed, but Arsenal are still a fantastic club and will go on without Thierry
