Manchester United's young midfielder Jesse Lingard has completed a loan move to Championship side Derby County for the rest of the season.
The 22-year-old signed a new three-year deal at the Red Devils this evening, and many expected him to leave Old Trafford on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
It has now been confirmed that Lingard will ply his trade for Derby County on a temporary basis for the season.
Derby boss Steve McClaren revealed the news on the club's official website.
"Jesse Lingard is an exciting talent and someone that we are looking forward to working with," He said."He strengthens the attacking options that we can call upon and given we've lost Jordon Ibe and Johnny Russell in the last few weeks it was important to strengthen in that particular area of the side."
