World Cup winner Sami Khedira is considered as a top transfer target for Bundesliga strugglers Borussia Dortmund next summer.
Dortmund have had a tough time in the league this season, and currently themselves languishing in 16th place, just a point off the automatic relegation places.
Widespread reports reveal that the German international is likely to exit Real Madrid at the end of the season following the expiry of his contract.
In addition to this, Dortmund will look to provide stiff competition to fierce rivals Bayern Munich for the player's services when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
