Barcelona are keen on landing the signature of Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata, according to a report.
The Spain international had been constantly linked with a switch away from the Mancunian giants over the summer.
However, he remained at Old Trafford due to an early season injury crisis, which left the club feeble in midfield.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are keen on signing up the talented Spaniard in the future.
The report adds that the Catalans would have to wait until their transfer ban is lifted in January 2016 to secure Mata's services.
Mata joined the Red Devils from Chelsea in January 2014.
