Manchester United are unlikely to offload midfielder Juan Mata to Atletico Madrid unless they get Koke in exchange.

Mata has struggled to cement his place in the first-team at the Red Devils this season.

Recent reports have claimed that the Spain international could make a switch back to La Liga with Atleti in the summer.

According to Metro, United are open to the sale of Mata to the Basque club in a deal which would warrant Koke moving the other way.

The 26-year-old joined Manchester United from Chelsea in January 2014.
