Italian outfit Bologna could launch a summer offer for Liverpool's out-of-favour Fabio Borini, according to The Express.
The 23-year-old was tipped to join Sunderland on a permanent transfer at the start of the season, but he decided to fight for his place at the Reds.
However, Borini has been in and out of the first-team setup this season, with the likes of Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert offering him stiff competition for the striker's role.
The Express reports that the arrival of a fit Daniel Sturridge will hamper his chances of regaining a role at the club.
In addition to this, Serie B side Bologna will make a move to sign up the Italy international when transfer window reopens in the summer.
Bologna are currently second in Serie B.
