Manchester City are considering a sensational offer to bring former Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne back to the Premier League.

The Belgian international left Stamford Bridge for Wolfsburg last summer, and has since then been in sensational form for the Bundesliga outfit.

In spite of Wolfsburg claiming that De Bruyne is not for sale, The People claims that the Citizens are planning a summer swoop for the 23-year-old.

The report adds that the Premier League champions could secure the player's services for a fee of around £27m.
