Liverpool consider Morata move

Liverpool plot summer move for Alvaro Morata

24 February 2015 - 23:22

Liverpool consider the signing of Juventus striker Alvaro Morata as their number one priority when the transfer window reopens in the summer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • The 22-year-old joined the Turin giants from Real Madrid last summer, but has since then been in and out of the first-team due to his struggles in front of goal.

According to Fichajes.net, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will look to solve the club's striker crisis in the summer, and considers Morata as the perfect fit to accompany Daniel Sturridge upfront.

However, the Merseyside giants could have a tough task in acquiring the Morata's signature, as Los Blancos have the option of buying their former player back for £25m at the end of the season.
