Manchester United are open to the sale of Rafael da Silva next summer, The Mail reports.

The 24-year-old has featured in just nine games for the Red Devils this season, and this has led to the speculation that he could exit Old Trafford at the end of the campaign.

According to The Mail, United boss Louis van Gaal is willing to offload the Brazil international, as he willing to play other players in the right-back role, including youngster Paddy McNair.

Rafael has only a year left in his existing deal at United, and could well be available on a bargain price at the end of the season.
