Southampton have joined the long list of clubs interested in signing Javier Hernandez in the summer transfer window.
The Mexican international joined Real Madrid from Manchester United on a season-long loan deal over the summer, but has since then failed to make most of his spell at the Bernabeu.
It is now understood that Hernandez will be offloaded from United once his loan spell at Los Blancos expires in the summer.
Widespread reports now reveal that the Saints have joined the likes of Everton, Stoke City, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United in the pursuit for the player's signature.
