Liverpool will reportedly wait until the summer before having negotiations with winger Sterling over a new deal.

The England international has had a good season for the Reds, and this has led to rumours linking him with a summer exit from the club.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers had recently revealed that the Merseysiders were closing in on a new deal for the talented youngster.

However, The Mirror now claims that the Reds have decided to postpone Sterling's contract talks, as their main priority is to finish in the top four this season.
