The talented defender rejected a summer move to the Premier League, as he was ready to fight with Dani Alves for the right-back role.

However, Montoya has struggled to make any influence in the first-team this season, and has been restricted to just six league appearances.

According to Metro, the 23-year-old is keen on closing up on his career at Camp Nou this summer, with the Reds leading the race for his signature.
