The duo have yet to sign new deals at Old Trafford, and this has led to the speculation that they could be offloaded in the summer on a cut-price deal.

Reports elsewhere reveal that United boss Louis van Gaal is ready to wait until the summer, before checking on the contract status of his first-team squad.

Manchester United are currently fourth in the league standings, with a five point lead over fifth-placed Liverpool.
