West Ham United defender Aaron Lennon has revealed that he would be happy to remain at the club in spite of interest from Chelsea in recent weeks.

  • The 25-year-old joined the Hammers from Ipswich Town last summer, and has since then been one of the stand out performers for the East London outfit.

Cresswell, who is expected to be named the Hammer of the year, has insisted that he is fully focused on his job in hand.

"Obviously it's nice to see things like that [transfer speculation]," He told The Mirror.

"But I have four years left on my West Ham contract and I'm very happy down here. I don't read into it or look into stuff like that.

"I just concentrate on doing my best for West Ham. I have still got four years left on my contract and it's what I'm enjoying at the minute."

Cresswell has been ever-present for his club this season.
