Liverpool are apparently ahead of Manchester United in the race to sign PSV Eindhoven star Memphis Depay this summer.

The Netherlands international has been tipped to leave the Eredivisie giants at the end of the season, with United keen on securing his signature.

However, the club\'s sporting director Marcel Brands has revealed that United are not front-runners to sign up the Dutch maestro.

He added that the likes of Liverpool and French giants Paris Saint-Germain lead the Red Devils in the pursuit of the player\'s services.

Depay\'s current deal at PSV expires in June 2018.
