The Blues have been long linked with a move for the Spain international, with manager Jose Mourinho being a huge admirer of the player\'s ability with the ball.

Widespread reports now reveal that the Blues could make a mega offer in the region of £46m to sign up the midfield maestro in the upcoming transfer window.

It is also understood that the Blues could sell Filipe Luis to the Basque outfit as part of the deal, in order to comply with the Financial Fail Play regulations.
