Manchester City will not axe Manuel Pellegrini from his managerial role at the end of the season.

The Citizens have failed to win anything this season, and this had led to the speculation that the club could consider the sacking of Pellegrini this summer.

However, The Mail claims that Pellegrini will stay at City and see out his contract, after Pep Guardiola revealed of his decision to stay put with Bayern Munich.

City are currently second in the league standings.
