Rafael Benitez is keen on signing up Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling this summer, should he be appointed as Real Madrid's head coach.

  • The Spaniard has been tipped exit Napoli for a move to former club Real Madrid this summer.

    Reports in Spain reveal that Benitez is '99 percent' sure of taking up the managerial reigns at Los Blancos.

    It is added that the 55-year-old has earmarked Liverpool's Raheem Sterling as his first signing for the former European champions, should all things go as planned.

    Benitez managed Real Madrid's B team between 1993 and 1995.
