Jordi Alba agrees new Barcelona deal

FC Barcelona have announced that defender Jordi Alba has agreed a new contract to extend his stay at the club until the summer of 2020.

The Spain international joined the Catalan giants from Valencia in 2012, and has since then been a key member of the first-team.

It has now been confirmed that the 26-year-old has agreed on a contract extension, which includes a buy-out clause of around £108m.

Alba has made 43 appearances for the La Liga champions this season.
