West Bromwich Albion want to make Real Madrid youth prospect Cristian Benavente their first signing of the summer. WBA have had a bid of 5 million euros accepted for the youngster.

The Peruvian 21-year-old has been told that he is free to leave the Bernabeu despite featuring regularly for Real Madrid's second string side last campaign.

Tony Pulis wants to move quickly to snap up Benavente as Spanish trio Sevilla, Valladolid and Real Mallorca are all believed to have shown some interest in the Peruvian international.

WBA officials will fly to Spain for talks this week.
