Spurs make Trippier enquiry

Tottenham Hotspur make Kieran Tripper approach

11 June 2015 - 12:06

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to have made a formal enquiry to sign Burnley's Kieran Trippier this summer.

  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?
  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?

  • Trippier was one of the stand out performers for the Clarets, in spite of their dismal league campaign leading to their relegation to the Championship.

Reports claim that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has been forced to enter the transfer market for a new right-back, following Kyle Walker's suffering injuries on a regular basis over the past 18 months.

It is added that Trippier has a release clause of just £3.5m, and this has tempted the North Londoners into making an approach.

Liverpool are also rumoured to be interested.
