Arsenal are confident of securing the services of Theo Walcott on a long-term basis.
The England international's current contract is up at the end of next season, and talks are being held regarding an extension.
Walcott has earlier stated that he would be open to a new deal provided he is considered as a regular in the first-team setup.
The Mirror now claims that Walcott's contract talks are progressing well, and manager Arsene Wenger is confident that the 26-year-old will commit his future to the club this summer.
Walcott scored the opening goal as the Gunners retained the FA Cup with a 4-0 thumping of Aston Villa last month.
